When I think of chocolate I think of all the beautiful tastes, scents, and memories I have had with chocolate. Chocolate has always been a delicious delight to have as a pick me up, a gift, or a celebration. Chocolate smells like nothing else, because its sugar,  dairy, butter, vanilla, caramel, cocoa all come together and scream eat me! The aromas can create a curiosity and each time you get near chocolate you are more curious. All my memories of chocolate have been in various countries, at different occasions, and with famous pastry chef's; however, when it boiled down to buying a gift well designed I could never find one.

My curiosity led to the creation of Lilly Choco & co. In 2017, I took a class to learn how to make this delightful confection and began making chocolate out of my kitchen. It quickly became apparent that making chocolate made me happy and my chocolate brought happiness to the world.

Chocolate is not a bright world for everyone. In my research at the start of my company I found horrible stories from the coast of Africa and other parts of the equator where cocoa farms existed. I learned of the children who grew up on farms and gave up their lives, education, and potentials to pick the cocoa pods. I took a pledge to promise to create and make products that are sustainably and ethically sourced and support the ecosystems around them.
